Blogging Has Changed Me For Better

August 28th, 2016. I started my blog. Then, I was an anxious teenager who needed to get her thoughts out of her head. Over a year later, I’m more confident and willing to produce better content for you guys.

NNow, I know I really only post life updates or quick writings that I never continue with (EXCEPT for my choose your own story posts), but I want to grow better content to grow an audience.

I want my story to get out there, and more. I want to review books or do a haul every once in a while. Or even a DIY post. I want to become a Full-time blogger, but that’s hard.

That’s why I opened my Patreon in the beginning of the year. I’m not trying to push it on you guys, but it’s there if you feel you need to help me out.

So, starting next week-month, I shall be starting to do different posts. Like recipes, DIY, hauls, and other various ideas. I will do better!

And of course, I want to amp up my designs, so that’ll be changing too :p

What I Love and Hate About Myself

Now, the title might scare you a little bit, but I want to improve the things I dislike about myself. I’ll only say the major ones because I don’t need my self-esteem pitfalling.

What I love about ME

  1. My weirdness has always help me get out of awkward situations. On the 2nd, I had to say a speech in front of my speech class. The speech was literally about me being weird, and I was funny enough in my speech that I felt comfortable enough in front of 25 people.
  2. My love of books has NEVER stopped me from doing anything (small lie, I had a hard time learning the 16 “The”s in German class Junior year). I’ve had reading inserted into my brain since I was young.
  3. Throughout the past couple years, I have changed a lot. At the end of year 10, my grandmother died and that affected me so much more than I realized it had. I’m coming back from those changes and with some added features. I think those changes define who I am today.

What I hate about ME

  1. My writing isn’t all that good, I’m gonna be real honest. I know some of you might disagree, but I suck in general. I can’t write essays over the grade of 75%, my research papers always have “More organization.” or “Better transition.” People sugar coat how well my writing it. I know I’m not good, so just critique me! Help me get better!
  2. My anxiety pulls me away in situations where I honestly just can’t come back from. I have a slight speech impediment where I repeat a lot of my sentences. So, I just embarrass myself (RECENT EXAMPLE!! Where I work, we sell HUGE pickles. I asked if someone wanted them quartered. Well, I said it wrong by saying “3 quarters pickled.” *sigh* I’ll never be talk good (that was intentional).
  3. I’M NOT WITTY AND I HATE IT. I never had good comebacks, or just walk past someone and say “cute bag.” My brain isn’t wired to work like that.

Now, someone out there might tell me to hang in there, or suck it up, but no. You can’t make me. I will improve what I dislike about myself whether you like it or not, buttercup!

In A World|| Preview of novel?

In a world, where people live on Mars, Earth, and Luna, the earth has fallen. Society has broken down to the point that no one likes it there, except one girl. One girl on Mars. She has fallen in love with the oceans, animals, and more of “The Golden Year.” A time thought to be the best years on Earth.

Before they moved off of it.

Now, the planet is in need of her assistance to help Prince Conrad remove his uncle from the throne. BUt, can they do it when he has eyes everywhere? Can Larissa Jonas help Prince Conrad with his neverending battle between him and King Redbird?

Hey, sorry. I know this is a little cheeky, but I’ve been writing lately and I think I have something good here. I was DEEPLY inspired by Sailor MOon and The Lunar Chronicles. I’m still working out the rough edges, but it’s hard to do that when I have homework, class, and work itself.

Next term, I will be taking a fiction writing class, though, so that should be fun.

I was thinking about doing blogtober, but I got lazy and decided not to. :p Other than writing, nothing has really changed from my usual days. I hope to get a really cool post out soon, I swear!!

My Room’s a Mess||Life Adventures

Ho boy, have I got a story to tell you.

I don’t I just wanted to ramble. The first week of college went by in a blur. I already have a speech and an essay due next week so there’s that. Speech on Monday (uuugh) and the rough draft of the essay on Tuesday (final on the 5th).

Other than that, NaNoWriMo is coming up and I’m not sure whether I will do it or not due to class work and work. I’m not sure if I can write every day and just thinking about it kind of stresses me out lol.

Oh! I also got inspired by The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer to write about a girl who lives on Mars and Earth is in shambles…. Yeah, I’ll tell you about it later. soon

Other than all of the things I’ve said, Youtube is okay. I’ve had some issues posting videos, so I’ll try to fix that as soon as I can!!! I still have some slight anxiety when filming videos. I’m deathly afraid of anyone hearing me talk to a camera, so I don’t know how I’ll ever get over that.

Well, I better get going. I hope to blog about actual topics soon~

Hobby it up!| Discussion time!

Hey, guys. I had the idea of having a discussion topic every week. This weeks topic is Hobbies. The talking part will consist of me talking about what I like to do and you guys can comment about what you like to do.

ANYWAYS!!!

I have a lot of hobbies now that I’m thinking about it. I like to play any type of games. Board, card, video. My most favorite games (from each category) are Clue, Monopoly, Ulitmate Werewolf, Salem, The Game Of Things, The Sims series, Stardew Valley, and Don’t Starve.

I like to read and write. I want to become an author and I’m going to college for a Bachelors degree in Creative Writing. Some of my favorite books/book series is The Lunar Chronicles, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Wicked Game, Final Scream, and the entire Bone series.

If collecting stationary is a hobby, then sign me up. Same thing with stuffed animals. I do like gardening, photography, and collecting stickers.

Since I’m out of hobbies, I think I might be done.

Tell me your hobbies in the comments!!

Trying Something Not So New?|sned hlep

Late night post (my time. It’s 9:54 pm) but I wanted to talk before I started doing this.

Would you guys like to read short stories?

Now, I know I’ve written before, but some people prefer different content.

If I  would be doing this, it would probably be horror/thriller. Like something like Clue, where someone’s a killer and people need help.

I don’t know why everything that I do is like this, but I just love the idea of a hidden killer who murders everyone. It’s just a dumb obsession of mine lol.

ANYWAYS!!!!!

Games I Play

I’m bad at blogging oh my god.

HI, HELLO. I EXIST

So, I like games. Board, card, video. Pretty much all of them. I’ll start off with board games and see what happens after that 🙂

Board Games

Monopoly

It’s a classic, I mean, come on. I really only like Monopoly, because I am kind of good at it. Whenever I play with friends, I get dominated because my friends go for houses and hotels IMMEDIATELY after getting a Monopoly and it makes me mad.

Tokaido

So, this is a Japanese game about being the most cultured in any area the game has. You can collect knick-knacks, buy clothes, experience things, all while collecting the most points.

Clue

Clue, in my opinion, is the best board game. There’s a lot of backstories for each character. And it came out with a great movie. 10/10

Card Games

Ultimate Werewolf

I love this game so much aaaaaaa. I’ve played this game too many times to count. Typically, though, I’m the moderator. I just tell people to do stuff. My friends and I usually played it at our monthly game nights, but we haven’t had one in a while, so I’m not sure whether we’ll be playing it anymore.

Salem

So, Salem is like Ultimate Werewolf, but specifically just witches.  There’s at least one witch, one constable, and everyone else is not a witch. There are authentic people from the time of Salem, Massachusetts’ witch trial. My friends and I have only played it a handful of times, but we’re already in love with it.

Video Games

Last but not least, my favorite type of game. I own a lot, so I’ll be telling you guys the ones I play the most, or I love them.

The Sims Series

This one is kind of obvious, but it’s my top tier game. If I were to play any game, it’d probably be Sims 2 or Sims 3. I’ve had multiple Sims games since early childhood.

Stardew Valley

I LOVE THIS FARMING SIMULATOR SO MUCH IT HURTS. It’s so simplistic, there are so many people you can marry and have children with, you can divorce your spouse, and like a million secrets in the game that I haven’t even discovered.

Don’t Starve

I guess I just like Strategy games that force me to think about the future lol.

DREAM DADDY

If you haven’t heard about this game, it’s a dad dating simulator. My favorite YouTubers actually made the game. It has so may dad puns and jokes, and overall, it has had a great review about it all. If you haven’t played it, PLAY IT RIGHT NOW GODDAMMIT.

This is done, now. I am done.

See you later, Alligator!!! 😀
