Changing what you want to do is never really fun. Either you’re changing because you want to or you change because you have to.
This may come as a shock for some
I don’t like my content.
I felt like I’m whiny or trying to get pity points from you guys.
I’m not really a ‘beauty’ or a ‘lifestyle’ person. I really only like games. It’s sad to say, but I don’t feel like my writing abilities are capable of being novels, maybe not even short stories. I love reading, I don’t think I’m a good writer. I love games, though.
So, I guess it’s time for a change.
Since I want to change my content, I’m going to go on a hiatus. Don’t know how long, probably not too long though. I’m going to need time to get things going. Probably a couple weeks- maybe even all of April. The world may never know until I blog next.
New month new content! I know I had a content crisis last month, but I’ve worked it out! I’m going to stick with my plan and see how it goes!
Since it’s a new month, I want to try and branch out. Break out of my cocoon full of comfort. I want to spread my wings! I’ve always given myself broken promises as New Year’s resolutions, but this year, I’m actually going to do them! I will succeed at something this year!
A preview of this month…
A new term starts at Caitie’s college. What will she do if her classes get too rough? Will she actually be good at her drawing class?
This week, Caitie will talk about her fun adventure during Spring Break! Fun in the sun!!
Expect some new clothes when Caitlynne actually wears a dress or two!
Caitlynne tells you to stay organized while leading a chaotic life on her own!
Hello, lovelies! Welcome back! I hope you had a good week! I hope your next week is good. Let’s get going on the posts!!
I didn’t start writing anything until I saw my mom writing a romance novel. She never published it (which upsets me because she’s an award-winning poet) and she shoveled it into the depths of our desk. I had a spare composition book around and wrote down a story that consisted of me talking to my friends.
The “very” first piece of my writing was a weird little book about a couple of friends begins to date, but his younger brother has a crush on his girlfriend… yeah. Recently I found it and I died of laughter. It was so bad, and I think of my writing as mediocre. oh boy
Pretty much what I only write now is random short stores, my work in progress, and some stuff for my board game, which I HOPE TO PUBLISH once I get the nerve to playtest it with my friends gah.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this short post! Have a good week!
Hey guys! I’m back with another post about my history! As the title states…
I’m going to be telling you why I love books!!
My mom was the person to get me into reading. She read herself to sleep every night before getting married to my dad. Once she had my sister and me, she read to us every night. I can’t really remember it, but she did read all of the Harry Potter books to us (except for Deathly Hallows because we were a preteen and a teenager already). I had a stacked and overgrown bookshelf in my room for my entire life. Once I moved in with gage, his dad had to cut it in half so we could put them on the walls because OUR ROOM IS SO SMALL.
Back to books! heh
I have lived a rough life. My family has always been below the poverty line (because America sucks) and books have always been my escape from the impending doom of “Will we have to move again?” or “With dad/mom losing their job, what are we gonna do?” As I write this, I look up at my bookshelf that’s right over my head and think. Think about all of the adventures I’ve held in my head from these stitched together pieces of paper. They’ve helped me so much, and I can’t repay them in any ways except to read them. Break in those spines, take off the dust covers and read the day away.
Books have changed me for the better. Yes, they tend to lead me to disclude myself from others, but they take me to worldly places and meet other people, people that no one else will meet.
There are so many types of books out there, and someday I hope to own a library.
Ever since I was young, I can remember loving Sailor Moon. Considering I have an older sister who was watching it on TV when I was a baby, I was bound to love it too. I idolized my sister, so of course, I would.
I forgot about Sailor Moon as I grew up, though. The only thing that we had of merch was Sailor Moon R: Promise of The Rose. The movie rental place in my town (Hollywood Video bitches) had the other two movies that my parents let us rent all the time, so we were content.
It wasn’t until I met my friends that I have now, where I remembered about Sailor Moon. My friends are what you would call “weeaboos”, but they aren’t though. We all love the Japanese culture, food, and leisure activities.
Once I started new friendships, I watched all 200 episodes of Sailor Moon instead of doing my homework. At the time, it was a mistake. Looking back though, I really didn’t need to do that pre-algebra anyways even though I was failing the class at least I’m good at math now yay.
Now, I’m pretty much obsessed with Sailor Moon. I want my first tattoo to be a tribute to Sailor Jupiter. I’m planning on never ending my love of the show.
There should be a new part of Sailor Moon Crystal coming out later this year. Pretty pumped about that lol.
Well, I hope you guys enjoyed my story of Sailor Moon! Look forward to a post next week!
Can I just say a couple things before I start this? Great, thanks.
I wanna die aaa
Incoming Q&A!! Please comment questions or tweet them to me!! 🙂
For most of my life, I have loved cats. I had a multitude of stuffed animals of them. When my family got one, I fell in love (I still love him, he’s just a little anger ball). I loved cats.
Until one day.
I can’t remember that one day, I only know that I began to love ferrets around the fall of 2016. I had wanted one so bad, but I didn’t have money to care for it, and cat+ferret does not bode well when your cat chases field mice and shrews around.
Around this time last year, Gage (bf if you didn’t know) and his younger brother were at a fundraising event (for our band trip to Disneyland). They were selling doughnuts outside of a coffee place. Well, a lady came by with a couple of ferrets and he sent me some pictures of them. I started to cry. I just magically fell in love with these little fuzzbutts and someone in my city owned three.
Months passed as my love of these tubesnakes grew.
Once I started college, I moved in with Gage and his family for an easier commute (I don’t have a license yet). One day, Gage and I were hanging out with friends and we went to a pet store in a neighboring city. When we got there, they had puppies, kittens, snakes, tortoises, and more. I went straight to where they kept the ferrets. I couldn’t play with them, due to them being played with a lot. I could only look, not touch. There was only one of them awake. I poked my finger at it through the barrier. It scratched its little claws at me, wanting out.
Well, two days later, I bought that same ferret and named her Bean.
I have talked about Bean MANY times before, but there are some people that might have not seen her yet!
This is my Beanie!
She is 7, almost 8 months old. I got her when she was 4 months old. She’s a crazy, hungry, sleepy noodle! We have tried and tried again to keep her off our desks (doesn’t work). She can’t be out when we’re eating (she likes to steal things like fast food straws out of cups). And she just won a battle with fleas!! The only treats she will eat aren’t the healthiest for her, but she doesn’t care.
I love my little furbutt, and I hope to get more friends for her to play with.
If you guys enjoyed this, give it a like and maybe even follow!
