Feels Like I’m Butthurt|Life Adventures

How’s it going, everyone? I’ve been in a mood.

So, I’ve been looking for a new job because my hours got cut by a lot, so I’m only getting 8 a week.  I applied to a couple of places and only one got back to me. The store where Gage works. Note: I’ve applied here, got an interview, and was rejected last year. So, here’s to me MAYBE working with kiddos while their parents shop??

Because of this MAYBE job, and considering I don’t drive, I figured “Maybe I should go buy some rollerskates?” I love skating in general so may as well. Well, I bought them and got super excited to use them. Well, I fell on my butt. IT’S BEEN A WHILE OKAY.  Now I have a butt bone bruise. I’m physically and emotionally butthurt.

I signed up to be on a party crew for one of my classes. That means different people I can become friends with! I know I have my real life friends and my blogger friends, but these guys are different. They don’t know about me during high school lol.

My friends and I hadn’t hung out a lot of this month and we all of a sudden had multiple hangouts within a weeks span. We hung out a couple of times already, but Saturday we’re staying at E’s house.  ‘We” consists of S, I (E’s boyfriend), Gage and I. I’m only putting their initials because I don’t know if I have the okay to put their names.

Another thing is that it snowed last night! Gage and I took Bean out to play in the snow and she’s frantically running around the room because she wants to again! It’s so cute, you guys!

I also got these cute flats from Target and E and S hate them so here you go!20180221_1045552015792561.jpg

Well, I better go!

Struggles and Strengths #1

Hey, guys! I would love to introduce you to…

Different Content!!

Now, I’m still doing my Life Adventures and my writing, but I want to do something else…

I want to share with everyone the struggles and strengths of different things. Like this one. This one’s about blogging! Everyone has different S&S, so I’m only going to talk about popular ones, and my own.

So, let’s get on with it!!

Some struggles I deal with is pumping out content for you guys. I’m a full-time student with a part-time job with full-time life issues. Sometimes, I’m really not in the mood to rush a post that I need some time writing about.

Another one is the goddamn stats. I WANT to be a full-time blogger. Yes, I want to make money off my posts, but I enjoy what I’m doing while I’m doing it. I don’t want to work a job I despise going to. I want to be with you guys 🙂

And the final issue for me is coming out of the blogging closet. Only my boyfriend, some of my close friends, my parents, and my sister know about my blog. I desperately want to tell others, but I’m terrified of my past. In the beginning of my blog, I ranted about people I didn’t like. Well, almost a year ago, those people found the posts. I don’t want them to tell people what I did in the past because they’re holding a dead grudge.

Onto the strengths!

One HUUUGE strength of mine is opening up to people. I am one of those people who cry when they say someone is irritating them. Since I have started blogging, I have been a lot happier. I have just started to talk about my feelings more with my boyfriend, and it feels good to get built up anger off my chest and shoulders. Bottling up your feelings is unhealthy.

Another big strength is my self-confidence/esteem. I feel a lot better about how I am around people. Since I started blogging, my self- image, esteem, confidence, and worth have ALL gone up because I feel more comfortable here. It’s as if I were made to create this blog. I’ve always been a bubbly, funny person. I guess I was kind of made for this 🙂

Well, that’s really all I can think of right now, personally. If you want to tell me yours, write a comment below!

Support me!

Peace out

As I sit down to write this, I think What could go wrong?

There isn’t a reason why I’m writing this, I just am.

Yet, I feel there is something hidden, deep down.

Deep enough for me to realize that

it’s still there.

That built up hatred is here.

I take a deep breath and sigh.

My fingers are moving furiously,

enough to the point where I exclaim

“Goddamn, this Pokemon gym is hard.”

Life ‘n Stuff

Hey, guys. My life has been uneventful lately. I’ve been avoiding my homework and really only watching youtube videos, which is NOT GOOD AT ALL lol.

I want to get going on my new year’s resolutions because everyone starts theirs in January and they usually fail. So, I figured may as well start it in February to get a better handle of it on my own, rather than the entire new year pressuring me to go above and beyond. I want to build muscle because I am a weakling! Woo! Yaa!! I plan to run, buy some weights, and exercise! Most people give themselves a time period, but I’m not going to limit myself to just one month or something like that.

Another thing I want to do is have a podcast for some spoken blog posts(similar to me talking this as I type it!)

I’ve been toying with the idea of having a post similar to an OOTD, where I just talk about some outfits that I typically wear, but I only wear jeans and t-shirts, so there’s one problem already.

I’ve been working on my WIP a lot and I’m really liking it. which is unusual for me because I always feel neutral to the ideas I have. I hope to talk about it soon, but I’m afraid people will steal my ideas. :/

I hope you all have wonderful days. Get all of your goals done. Enjoy your life for once.

Support my daily struggles!

Peace out

Review: The Assassin Game by Kirsty McKay

Not too long ago, I bought a book from Target. Thought the cover looked really nice, so I bought it. I finished it recently and I figured ‘why not do a review on it?’

So, let’s get going on to the book.

Image result for the assassin game

The Assassin Game is by Kirsty McKay. At the main character, Cate’s school there’s a mystery game named Killer. The students see the game as more of an elite secret society. During the game’s “season” the members must avoid being “killed”, where everyone avoids pranks and the only person who knows who the killer is the “Game Master.” Cate is invited to join the game and play with them. But when people start to physically get hurt by allergies or herbs, the school threatens to shut the game down. Cate begins to unravel the killer’s mind games, as things start to get worse and worse.

When I first started reading the book, it felt really slow to me, as if I was reading the first part of 1984(it’s crazy boring). Once the first person was hurt, it slowly picked itself up. I loved the idea of the story. The mystery, the slight humor. But there were downsides to it. I know I might be too mature for this book, but it seemed childish at times.

Overall, I would give the book a3.5/5 stars. I loved the story and how it developed, but there were some unexpressed ideas that could have happened.

Locked In A Room||Escape During The Night

You wake up in the attic with punding on the door. You run up to the door, half awake. “Dakota! It’s me. I have food for you.” Panther whispers. You open the door and she greets you with a smile. “Good morning, sleepyhead. Jeez, it’s freezing in here. Why didn’t you turn the heater on?” She walks past you and enters the attic. She sits in an old chair. “So, when are we escaping?” She asks impatiently. “Whenever, I guess. You three have to get your stuff together, and then we can go.” “Okay, then I’ll tell the kids that we’re leaving tonight. I have a horse and carriage that we can take to your home. Then the kids and I will be safe and free from my evil parents.” “Cool, we escape tonight.”

The night comes around. Panther and her children tell you that their stuff is in the carriage and they’re ready to go. “Let’s head out.” You say. “Come on, kids. Let’s go to our new home, where you two can grow up with as many friends as possible.” Panther says as she helps the kids into the carriage. All of a sudden, the front doors of the mansion slam open. “Reine! What on earth are you doing?” An older lady ran out. “I’m leaving, mother! I can’t deal with this anymore. I’m taking the children away from you and father!” “You can’t do this to us! Think of the prophecy! You have to believe me! It’s for the better.” The woman grabs Panther’s arm. “No.” Panther pulls her arm away and hops into the carriage. She closes the door to the carriage as you hop onto the rider seat. “please, sir. You can’t take them away. Sabine is supposed to fulfill a prophecy when she’s 13. If we protect the children and make Rein stay away, she will be successful.” The older lady has a deep concern on her face.

What do you do? Leave them here, or take them with you?

Life Adventures!! (I lost count after 2)

Hey! How’s everyone been? I really haven’t talked to any of my blogger friends for a while and I feel really bad :c I’m really sorry. I’ve just been so busy with school and work and my new baby.

Okay, so she’s not a real baby. She’s a 4-month-old ferret. Her name’s Bean. Currently, she’s a handful because she wants to play every other second of the day, but other than that, she’s been pretty chill.

I also got a new phone, but the service hasn’t changed, so I have to call and text from my ‘old’ phone. Which is dumb. I spent all of yesterday trying to figure it out, which was really stressful. stressful to the point of me crying before going to work. But, I called tech and they’re trying to figure it out right now.

I want to take the blog in a different direction. I know I’ve said this a lot, but it’s true. I like to write for you guys, but not everyone enjoys reading all the time. So, I might throw in some fashion or DIY or maybe healthcare stuff. Still unsure. I’ll let you know, though! lol oh god im a mess with empty promises

What’s new with you?

Locked In A Room: Stealing The Keys

You point to the guard as he passes by your cell. Panther nods as she crouches next to the door frame. You grab what looks to be a leg from what used to be a bed frame. You hand it over to Panther. “Guard! We’re done eating. You can grab our trays. The guard unlocks the door and opens it. Panther smashes the leg on the guard’s head. “Grab the keys!” She screams and you frantically look on his body. “They aren’t here! Where are they?” You start to scream. Panther looks around his body as you notice “They’re in the lock still.” You take the keys. “Run, Panther!” You begin running down the hall as Panther is still searching the body. “Panther, come on. We have to leave before the other guards’ notice.” “I’m getting a weapon. We probably will need one or two!” She screams. “Whatever, you have a knife now. We gotta go.”

You two narrowly escape the prison. You feel the wind in your shaggy silver hair. Too bad they trimmed it when you got in there. Panther’s long black is flowing in the wind. “Your hair is very pretty, you know.” You say as she looks away from the valley up ahead. “Thanks, but there’s no time for romance. We have to get back to where we came from. I have a family to protect from thieves.” “I didn’t mean it like that.” You are now embarrassed. Congratulations. “We don’t even know where we are. We could be in Lorich, or Achidia.” You throw your arms in the air as she sighs. “We’re nearby my home. I get thrown in here every other week or two. Typically I use the mush to escape through the bars. How did you get here?” You run your hand through your hair “No clue. I’m a traveling merchant. I was on my way to taking a delivery to Lilywood.” “Lilywood? That’s four or fives towns east. How did you get this far?” Panther puts her hair into a tight bun on her head. She looks fierce, like a wolf stalking her prey. “No clue, but we can start walking to where your home is. Where is it?” You two start walking. She clears her throat “Brent Forest.”

You two make it to the small, dark town of Brent Forest. You and Panter are walking through town square as a shrew-like woman crawls out of the darkness. “They are waiting, Miss Reine.” “Thank you, Abigale. Come along, Dakota.” You follow Panther and Abigale. “Reine?” You whisper in Panther’s ear. “Only my family calls me that. It’s my first name, but I prefer my middle name.” The three of you are silent as you walk up to the gates of a large manor. “Meet Brent Forest Estate. My family owns the forest. They like it dark.” Panther begins to speak. “You said you had to protect a family earlier.” “My son and daughter. My parents murdered my husband and forced my children and me back into the house. My children don’t need their maternal grandparents.” “I’m sorry, Panther. How long have you been battling your parents?” The doors to the manor open to a largely lit hall full of browns, and oranges. “I can’t count how many times they’ve thrown me in prison. They can’t know you’re here. Where would you like to sleep? My room or the attic?

Where do you sleep?

Blogging Has Changed Me For Better

August 28th, 2016. I started my blog. Then, I was an anxious teenager who needed to get her thoughts out of her head. Over a year later, I’m more confident and willing to produce better content for you guys.

NNow, I know I really only post life updates or quick writings that I never continue with (EXCEPT for my choose your own story posts), but I want to grow better content to grow an audience.

I want my story to get out there, and more. I want to review books or do a haul every once in a while. Or even a DIY post. I want to become a Full-time blogger, but that’s hard.

That’s why I opened my Patreon in the beginning of the year. I’m not trying to push it on you guys, but it’s there if you feel you need to help me out.

So, starting next week-month, I shall be starting to do different posts. Like recipes, DIY, hauls, and other various ideas. I will do better!

And of course, I want to amp up my designs, so that’ll be changing too :p

Locked In A Room|| Choose Your Own Story

Hey guys. I'm pretty excited about this project of mine. Enjoy!

You wake up in a dimly lit room. Torches on the wall are the only light. “Wow.” YOu mumble. “Who’s there?” Someone is in the room with you. “Um? I’m Dakota Loris. I literally just woke up. Where am I?” You respond. “Well, Dakota. I’m Panther Bore. I woke up about an hour ago. I’m chained to the wall.” As Panther finishes her story, you stand up to find your foot in the same situation as Panther’s arms.

What feels like an hour passes with dead silence in the air. “You two, wake up! Food’s here.” A grumbly voice pushes food for you two through a hole on the bottom of the door. “I can’t eat it when my hands are chained up!” Panther screams. The man comes into the room and hands you two your food. “Fine, whiny bitch.” He says under his breath as he locks the door behind him. “Well, that was uncalled for. You say as you begin to eat. “What even is this?” You say. “Mush? I don’t know. We need to find a way out of here.” Panther’s wrists wriggle out of the chains. She stands up from her bed and uses the mush on your ankle. Slowly, your foot is freed from the metallic prison it was in.

The guard paces outside of your cell. You can see the sunset out of the small window in your cell. “A window! We could escape!” Panther says as she runs to the wall. “There are bars on the window, Panther. Neither of us could get out without the keys. We’d have to go through the door. We could knock the guard out and steal his keys.” You sit on your bunk. “No, I bet you we can both squeeze in between these bars with the mush. We still have some left.”

What do you think you should do? Steal the keys and run for it, or squeeze through the bars?

What will you do?

If you like this and want more, let me know!
