The Prophets|| Short Story

Before urbanization existed, there were two small villages not too far from each other. One was the large, prosperous Chen, the other was the smaller, Sonne. Sonne was the type of village that hated anything different from them. They were sheltered, conservative, and angry. Chen was the opposite. They were happy and bewildered at the creativity of life.

The prophet of Chen was a magical being. Filled with wonder, the Prophet wanted to fill their mind with the knowledge of life. The prophet had four magical abilities: Growth, Control, Telekinesis, and Morph. Once Chen learned about their prophet, they gave four children to the magical being so they could have these abilities. As years went on, the prophet aged with the children beside them.

Sonne soon learned about the children and the abilities and murdered all of Chen. The angry village took the land of Chen and combined it with Sonne. the city grew and grew. It became a sheltered, power-hungry community. They felt they were superior to every village nearby. They had the world.

But what they didn’t know was that the five Prophets survived. They were away for the slaughtering. The hid in the village and continued to learn their abilities. No one knew about them. Until the Prophet passed and the children had no one.

They were split up from each other and went to other parts of the village. They were forced to go to school, forced to leave their friends, forced from using the powers.

But a stroke of luck appeared. A baby appeared in the middle of the village, wearing only a black cloth with a name tag around its wrist. The four Prophet found the child and alerted the other. It was their fifth half. The missing prophet.

The death prophet

They were told by the Head Prophet about this one. That on their passing, a baby would appear and become their fifth. The final prophet would bring death to whomever they felt. They would stay young forever as the others aged. The others were taught, but this one already knew what to do.

The five of them ran from their families and hid in the woods. They grew up and raised the fifth together. They would be a team in the end.

The rumor of them running away together spread through town, and people had heard of their powers. Once they were all grown, they decided to go back and have families to continue their bloodlines.

Their powers spread through the generations.

But I bet this is all just a myth though, right?

Beams.

“So, these beams that are coming out of your hands… What are they? What do they do?” Sam paced around the room. “Well, what Perry and I figured out is that they’re hot.’ Winona said as she looked at Perry’s injured hand. “Real hot.” She looked back at Sam. “Is that all you’ve tried? They could be energy- or light.” Sam brushed his hand through his thick blonde hair. “How could we test that? I can’t really point my hands at a bush, it might burn. Take Perry’s hand for example.” “We could try it at a plant, though. Odds are it won’t burn immediately, but we could plant a seed, water it, then you point your hands at it and we can see what happens.” Perry suggested.

The three of them decided to plant an onion seed at twilight. They filled a tiny watering can to the brim and dumped the water into fresh dirt. They placed the seed deep into the ground. “Are you guys sure that this could be it? Do you actually think I have sunbeams shooting out of my hands?” Winona questioned. “It’s something we can try.” Sam said as Perry shrugged.

Winona sighed as she pointed her hands to the ground. She closed her eyes and focused the beams out of her hands. Her body shook as the beams jutted out of her hands.

Perry.

“Come on, dude. You can’t me believe that our best friend is a witch. It’s just not possible.” Sam paced back and forth in his living room. “It’s true. I was there when it first happened. She’s been too terrified to tell anyone, I wanted to tell you weeks ago.” Perry plopped a teeny cookie into his mouth. “Weeks? How long has this been going on?” Sam faced Perry. The food in his mouth betrayed his speech “Couple months.”

Perry walked towards his car, grabbed his keys out of his pocket and unlocked his way into the car. Before he sat down, he looked into Sam’s bedroom window as Sam looked at him. He shook his head and got into the car. No one may believe me, but she needs his help. He thought.

Is DIY My New Thing?|Life Adventures

So, lately, I’ve been thinking about selling something or having a giveaway for these types of things (that  I want to make). I don’t want to say what it is just yet, but soon. I have ideas that are flowing through my brain and I am feeling it.giphy1

The writing on the blog has been going pretty well on my end, so that’s cool. I want to make what I’m currently writing a longer series of shorter posts, like what is going up now. It keeps me motivated to write more and keeps me entertained while reading them. What do you guys think of it?

Lately, I’ve been watching a lot more anime than I usually do and I’m living for it One that I recommend it Yamada-Kun and the Seven Witches

73700 It’s short, funny, and it has a great plot.

Other than that, I hope you guys have a good day/evening/night! (It’s 11:46pm for me. I began to work on this at like 5)

Peace Out

“He just doesn’t understand. I couldn’t explain it more, Winnie.” Perry ran his fingers through his hair. “What do you mean you explain it more? I have beams coming out of my hands!” Winona frantically paced. “I tried. He just continued to say that you were a demon.” He sighed. Winona sat down in a wooden chair. “He just can’t see through his tunnel vision.” Perry stood up and walked next to her. He placed his hand on her short curly hair. “I’m not a witch.”

Writing on The Blog?| Question

Hey, guys. As the title states, I was wondering if you would enjoy some short stories or similar things. I know some people just strictly want what the blogger has for content. I don’t have a strict content in general. So, it’d be pretty cool if I had at least one ongoing content. I’ve written on here before, but I want to be sure that you’d read it.

I’d pretty much write some short stories, maybe a short blog series or two, or maybe even glimpses of the novels that I write. You never know…

Would you guys enjoy some writing?

-Peace out

Locked In A Room: Stealing The Keys

You point to the guard as he passes by your cell. Panther nods as she crouches next to the door frame. You grab what looks to be a leg from what used to be a bed frame. You hand it over to Panther. “Guard! We’re done eating. You can grab our trays. The guard unlocks the door and opens it. Panther smashes the leg on the guard’s head. “Grab the keys!” She screams and you frantically look on his body. “They aren’t here! Where are they?” You start to scream. Panther looks around his body as you notice “They’re in the lock still.” You take the keys. “Run, Panther!” You begin running down the hall as Panther is still searching the body. “Panther, come on. We have to leave before the other guards’ notice.” “I’m getting a weapon. We probably will need one or two!” She screams. “Whatever, you have a knife now. We gotta go.”

You two narrowly escape the prison. You feel the wind in your shaggy silver hair. Too bad they trimmed it when you got in there. Panther’s long black is flowing in the wind. “Your hair is very pretty, you know.” You say as she looks away from the valley up ahead. “Thanks, but there’s no time for romance. We have to get back to where we came from. I have a family to protect from thieves.” “I didn’t mean it like that.” You are now embarrassed. Congratulations. “We don’t even know where we are. We could be in Lorich, or Achidia.” You throw your arms in the air as she sighs. “We’re nearby my home. I get thrown in here every other week or two. Typically I use the mush to escape through the bars. How did you get here?” You run your hand through your hair “No clue. I’m a traveling merchant. I was on my way to taking a delivery to Lilywood.” “Lilywood? That’s four or fives towns east. How did you get this far?” Panther puts her hair into a tight bun on her head. She looks fierce, like a wolf stalking her prey. “No clue, but we can start walking to where your home is. Where is it?” You two start walking. She clears her throat “Brent Forest.”

You two make it to the small, dark town of Brent Forest. You and Panter are walking through town square as a shrew-like woman crawls out of the darkness. “They are waiting, Miss Reine.” “Thank you, Abigale. Come along, Dakota.” You follow Panther and Abigale. “Reine?” You whisper in Panther’s ear. “Only my family calls me that. It’s my first name, but I prefer my middle name.” The three of you are silent as you walk up to the gates of a large manor. “Meet Brent Forest Estate. My family owns the forest. They like it dark.” Panther begins to speak. “You said you had to protect a family earlier.” “My son and daughter. My parents murdered my husband and forced my children and me back into the house. My children don’t need their maternal grandparents.” “I’m sorry, Panther. How long have you been battling your parents?” The doors to the manor open to a largely lit hall full of browns, and oranges. “I can’t count how many times they’ve thrown me in prison. They can’t know you’re here. Where would you like to sleep? My room or the attic?

Where do you sleep?

Locked In A Room|| Choose Your Own Story

Hey guys. I'm pretty excited about this project of mine. Enjoy!

You wake up in a dimly lit room. Torches on the wall are the only light. “Wow.” YOu mumble. “Who’s there?” Someone is in the room with you. “Um? I’m Dakota Loris. I literally just woke up. Where am I?” You respond. “Well, Dakota. I’m Panther Bore. I woke up about an hour ago. I’m chained to the wall.” As Panther finishes her story, you stand up to find your foot in the same situation as Panther’s arms.

What feels like an hour passes with dead silence in the air. “You two, wake up! Food’s here.” A grumbly voice pushes food for you two through a hole on the bottom of the door. “I can’t eat it when my hands are chained up!” Panther screams. The man comes into the room and hands you two your food. “Fine, whiny bitch.” He says under his breath as he locks the door behind him. “Well, that was uncalled for. You say as you begin to eat. “What even is this?” You say. “Mush? I don’t know. We need to find a way out of here.” Panther’s wrists wriggle out of the chains. She stands up from her bed and uses the mush on your ankle. Slowly, your foot is freed from the metallic prison it was in.

The guard paces outside of your cell. You can see the sunset out of the small window in your cell. “A window! We could escape!” Panther says as she runs to the wall. “There are bars on the window, Panther. Neither of us could get out without the keys. We’d have to go through the door. We could knock the guard out and steal his keys.” You sit on your bunk. “No, I bet you we can both squeeze in between these bars with the mush. We still have some left.”

What do you think you should do? Steal the keys and run for it, or squeeze through the bars?

What will you do?

Hey, sorry. I know this is a little cheeky, but I’ve been writing lately and I think I have something good here. I was DEEPLY inspired by Sailor MOon and The Lunar Chronicles. I’m still working out the rough edges, but it’s hard to do that when I have homework, class, and work itself.

Next term, I will be taking a fiction writing class, though, so that should be fun.

I was thinking about doing blogtober, but I got lazy and decided not to. :p Other than writing, nothing has really changed from my usual days. I hope to get a really cool post out soon, I swear!!
